Celebrity Hair Transplants Are Not Uncommon
If it is not a woman’s weight gain, it is a man’s hair loss. It seems people pay close attention to what happens to celebrities, and they definitely like to critique anything on a famous person’s body – good or bad. This is why there have been an increasing amount of surgeons performing celebrity hair transplants so that those in the public eye keep looking great for their admiring fans.
Some celebrities feel a hair transplant is needed as they get older to keep up their public image while others may go through surgery as part of an agreement with a studio, because physical appearance is a huge part of what brings in the money. Many times health and beauty are what keeps the money, or promise of more, flowing in. Once they have decided it is needed, the celebrity has their agent or someone else close research the best method and doctor to get the best results. Money is not their main concern; they are more worried about ending up with a bad hair transplant – what could be worse?
There are various methods available to them – laser, strip, or an FUE hair transplant, but whichever is chosen the goal will be either to increase hair growth or stop hair loss. Some people decide surgical removal is the way to go, while others choose laser. One way is grafting hair into the follicles, but it is important that you match hair density before starting. Another option is non-surgical, along the lines of laser treatment. This technology works to increase the blood that gets to the follicles, and should ensure that the patient’s hair is thicker and healthier than before. It usually takes a few treatments before patients see positive results though.
It is understandable why there are a lot of celebrities undergoing hair transplants, especially with the amount of attention focused on them – their livelihood depends on it.
